How we’re celebrating International Women's Day and Women’s History Month

International Women’s Day 2021 on March 8 is a global initiative to celebrate the accomplishments of all women and to work to end inequities. March is also Women’s History Month. It’s the perfect time to recognize the incredible women of Infor for their achievements and contributions to our organization, customers, communities, and families.

This year’s IWD theme is #ChooseToChallenge. As the IWD website notes, “A challenged world is an alert world, and individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions—all day, every day.” From challenge comes change. Transformation is born from stepping outside your comfort zone, recognizing diverse perspectives and experiences, and charging headfirst into the opportunities before us.

The past year has brought unprecedented challenges for people, businesses, and society. We’ve been humbled and inspired by the ideas, vision, creative problem-solving, and dedication that Infor women have demonstrated, strengthening our inclusive culture, and creating value for our customers and Infor.

On this day and throughout March, we’re shining a spotlight on some of these incredible women of Infor.

Social media. Check Infor’s social channels as several outstanding women of Infor share their career journeys and how they continuously #ChooseToChallenge. Infor employees across the globe will be raising their hands high to show their support of women and gender equality. We invite you to share your posts, too.

Internal events. Women’s Infor Network (WIN) is hosting a global International Women’s Day event to celebrate several women of Infor and how they #ChooseToChallenge. Local WIN chapters are hosting virtual events, ranging from panel discussions to sessions on well-being and self-awareness.
