Food Logistics Names Mikael Bengtsson and Marcel Koks 2024 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Award

Award recognizes influential individuals in the industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain 

Food Logistics has named Infor’s Mikael Bengtsson and Marcel Koks as winners of this year’s Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award for the Lifetime Achievement Category, which recognizes influential individuals whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.

"Supply chain rock stars are the backbone of the cold food chain. The words used to describe many of this year’s winners range from collaborative, passionate, innovative and forward-thinking to inspired, driven and dependable," says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logisticsand Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “New this year, we broke the award down into four distinct categories: Top Warehousing Stars; Top Shippers; Rising Stars; and Lifetime Achievement. These winners continue to go above and beyond to improve food safety, enhance efficiency and disrupt supply chain disruptions.”

This is Koks' third year in a row winning this award given he is a seasoned food & beverage expert, who sets industry and solutions strategy for Infor’s food & beverage market. He analyzes trends in the space to determine which industry specific capabilities are needed in Infor’s enterprise applications platform.

Bengtsson has an extensive background in the food & beverage industry and is a two-time winner of this award. He currently works with food & beverage companies to help them leverage technology to address industry challenges and improve profitability.
