Landmark Web Security Administration - An Introduction

Web Security Administration for Infor Landmark (aka Web Security Administration) is now available! Web Security Administration is a powerful tool to configure and extend the roles and rules-based security policies for any Infor Landmark technology platform-based application. For example, Web Security Administration can be used to assign security rules to security classes, which govern tasks that can be performed, and then assign security classes to roles. Roles are collections of security privileges that provide authorization for common business user functions. The Infor Financials & Supply Management application, Infor HR Talent application, and Infor Payroll application all deliver pre-defined roles with associated security policies for common business user functions. The Web Security Administration tool can be used to tailor delivered security rules, security classes, and roles to extend the security model to match customers’ specific security requirements. Web Security Administration changes take effect in near real-time in the production environment without taking the system down. Web Security Administration operates from within a web browser and introduces many new features and capabilities.
